I started college in 1999. Finally after 9 1/2 long years of off and on college classes, I graduated on Sunday!

Now, on to the real world.. I haven't particularly felt like a college graduate yet. I spent today sending my resume out to every museum or library job that I could find online. Hopefully someone finds me worthy. Haha, I even applied for this job to be a historian of African American history in P.G. County. It could be interesting (well, the pay is good anyway!) I just think it's funny because I lived around that area for so long, and it's not something that I ever even thought of.

Anyway, wish me luck!

p.s. I'm going on vacation a week from Sunday. Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel! Woo!

I shouldn't still be awake..

But I am.. so, I thought I would talk a little about the life of Jenn right now, cause it's been a while...

First of all, I have ONE MONTH OF SCHOOL LEFT!!! Seriously, I never ever ever thought I would finish school. But I'm gonna. Not that I'm all that optimistic.. It's a bad bad time to be graduating. I'm just hoping I can find a job that'll pay the bills. I can't really worry about whether it's in my field or something that I want to do. I just hope I don't end up working at another camera store, cause I don't think that I could deal. I've been selling cameras for almost 10 years now...

But, as far as school goes.. I'm trying to get straight A's this semester. It's looking pretty good so far.

Also, poor Winston kitty.. Basically I spent almost $500 on him last week. After blood tests and x-rays and all that good stuff, we found out that he's got a major infection that causes bumps on his skin and blood in his poo.. I know, it's gross, but there it is.. Anyway, he seems to be getting better so that's good news. I found a wonderful vet. He has me calling him everyday with an update and has been giving me really great advice.

In other news Branden's doing ok. I'm kinda worried that he's in a musical rut. He hasn't had to many recording jobs lately (with the exception of some live work), and no band to work with. I'm sure he'll work it out, but I hate to see his talents go to the wayside..

That's it, I guess..

Well, let's see. I pretty much own 10 full length albums (there is one other in his discography, but only released on cassette in 1993), plus I have a number of singles and b-sides as well as rare vinyls. My favorite albums would have to be Odelay (it's just the best, hands down) and One Foot on the Grave (a different, folksy kinda record, great lyrics). They're very different from one another, but kind of representative of what I love about his music.
5. give me an embarrassing story about yr brother. lol. talley.
Hmmm... How about the time that he won second place at nationals for boys figure skating.. oh you already know that one.. haha. Well, that's all I can think of right now, so if I think of any other stories I'll let you know.

So lately I've been looking at masters programs in library sciences. Am I the only person that doesn't think that it would be incredibly boring? All of my friends at school seem to think that I'm nuts.. Personally, I think it would be great to work in an art library.

Somebody please go with me to see Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band (or talk Branden into going). He doesn't want me to go alone, but he won't go with me either... I'm gonna cry if I can't find some one to go... :(

P.S. to Ryan- We actually looked up airfare to catch the show in Austin, but realized it's like 2 hours away from Houston. If it had been closer to you, then Branden would go. :(
